Monday, January 05, 2009 ::no texting::On September 24th, 2008 the Governor of California , Arnold Schwarzenegger signed Senate Bill 28 (SB 28) in to law. The new bill “Prohibits a person from driving a motor vehicle while using an electronic wireless communications device to write, send, or read a text-based communication. “ The new bill will impose a fine of $20 for the first offense and $50 for subsequent offenses. No violation points will be given as a result of the offense and there are exceptions for emergency personnel.
So what about when you're looking at your cell phone because your car dashboard clock is not working? What if you need to look at your phone to find the person you're calling prior to hitting the 'dial' button? What if you're using your cellphone (smartphone) to enter in an address for directions? (I don't think my software gave an agreement form stating that I should not use it while driving. I know my portable navi 'garmin' displays that rule when you turn it on. How will cops know you're texting versus dialing someone's number to call on your bluetooth?
Monday, August 18, 2008 ::even Batman feels the gas prices:: Wednesday, July 30, 2008 ::motivation after Cancun::a month before our trip to cancun, i was thinkin in ma head to make a concerted effort to bring sexy back before stomping on mexican grounds, clear water beaches, and powda sand. tho, that effort was just......all in ma head! spring forward to last week, a group of 5 dear friends flew out from LAX @ 2:30 in the mawnin' with red eyeballs on Mexicana to the vanderful land of paradise on earth. since it'll take too long to upload all the 2,000 pix here on ma blog and have it elsewhere, i'm just gonna tangent to anotha topic...workin' out and eatin' right. i'm posting ma 'before' picture here at cancun in hopes that in two months from today in september, the goal is to get rid of this ugly fat and rip it up so i can wash my clothes on my abz.
